The St. Cloud Civic Center changed to the Holyland Civic Center to include other main towns and surrounding areas into one basketball program, the Holyland Legends. The 5 pointed star symbolizes the surrounding communities, once separate, coming together as one basketball program. The seams of the basketball are designed to have an ‘H’ and an ‘L’ in them. Research, ideation, art direction, and brand identity/guidelines were the aspects that I worked on for this project.
During the presentation I showed possible applications, one of them was to have the logo painted on the wall opposite of the main entrance. This past summer they had the floor redone to incorporate the new logo along with other touchpoints in the facility.
